Text Box: Bettendorf Lagoon will host a exciting new event, the First Annual Mississippi Bend Model Boaters paddlewheel race and model show. This event on July 26th will start at 10:00 AM and is open to any radio controlled paddlewheel or side-wheeler, 6 or 12 volt with a maximum 07 motor. An entry fee of $5.00 for each model entered in the race, the static model judging is free. All entries must supply their own table, trophies and or ribbons will be awarded for the race and show.
