Mississippi Bend Model Boaters (MBMB) was established, as a not-for-profit organization, to bring together people with common interests in operating realistic model boats and having fun while running them. MBMB members build and operate a wide variety of vessels including Sailboats, Pleasure Craft, Work Boats, Military Ships, Submarines, and Fast Electric Boats. Our models are powered by electric motors, wind power, and steam engines. In order to reduce noise pollution and maintain a quiet environment;

NITRO, GASOLINE, AND OTHER INTERNAL COMBUSTION
POWERED BOATS ARE NOT ALLOWED!

 Our goal is to promote the hobby of model boating, by demonstrating the boats’ capabilities and by inviting the general public to come and see our boats in action. On occasion we do allow the public to operate our boats, at the discretion of the captain. We also freely exchange our knowledge of model boating among our members and the general public.
